RAILS is an abandoned grey-box prototype of a co-op first-person action game for 1–4 players.

Your crew rides a stubborn little train down an endless line under a green storm sky. At stations you run out to climb water towers, signal towers and houses for relics, grab coal, and get back before the train leaves. Between stations, waves of zombies run alongside, jump onto the decks and try to drag you off. Deliver the relic quota at every third station — miss it and the run is over.

• Climbing, dashing, sliding, grappling hook
• Two guns, rifle butt, throwable relics and flares
• Cards after each wave: piercing rounds, ricochet, hallowed (burning) rounds, faster reload and more
• Soul shop upgrades for the train: turret, coal collector
• Arena with its own waves, a boss train racing alongside

Status: prototype, not developed further. Expect rough edges, placeholder art and bugs. Feedback in the comments is very welcome — especially "I wanted to play again" or "this got boring at…".
